Chris Brown Finally Going To Jail Because Of Rihanna? Hit And Run May Be Probation Violation, 'Fine China' Singer Rants On Twitter, 'Let Me Live!'

Four years after Chris Brown bruised and battered Rihanna, the 24-year-old singer may be face jail time after being charged for a hit-and-run and driving without a license Tuesday.

The incident reportedly stems from a Los Angeles car accident in May, where Brown rear ended another vehicle. According to The Huffington Post, Chris refused to show his driver's license while exchanging information and also provided fake insurance information.

Since Tuesday, Brown has taken to Twitter to defend his innocence in a series of Twitter rants.

Despite being a misdemeanor charge only, the "Fine China" singer may face more serious repercussions as the incident could be a violation of probation, a probation which stems from the 2009 battery incident involving Rihanna.

According to CNN, an arraignment hearing has been set for July 15 at the Van Nuys courthouse, where Brown's felony probation could be revoked.

In addition to these new charges, Karrueche Tran's beau was also accused of showing fraudulent paperwork detailing his community labor, which was handed out as a part of his sentence following the Rihanna case.

District Attorney Jackie Lacey has called the paperwork "at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting." But Brown's attorney is affirming that the blame lies solely with the deputy district attorneys responsible for filing the paperwork.
