Legend Of Korra Season 2 Appears On Canada TV Fall Schedule: Will US Book 2 Release Date Be Announced At Comic-Con?

As "The Legend of Korra" is set to return to the San Diego Comic-Con next month, an interesting news bit has appeared online regarding its season 2 release date for the Canadian TV channel YTV.

In an article by Canada Newswire, the fall line-up for Corus Entertainment's YTV was unveiled that included "Sam & Cat," "The Haunted Hathaways," and "Legend of Korra."

"Seen in over 11 million homes across Canada, YTV is a leading entertainment brand for kids. YTV offers quality entertainment for kids and families with hit Nickelodeon series, nighttime drama for teens, blockbuster movies and original Canadian programming,"

However, Avatarthelastairbenderonline.com noted that while it is definitely premiering in the fall, an exact date was not given, and the fall season could mean anytime from August to November.

"Fall is a full season so it could still suggest a late in the year, but judging by many of the release dates of other shows mentioned I would lean towards earlier in fall rather than later," writes the site contributor.

This would also make sense if show creators Michael Date DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are planning to announce a premiere date for season 2 during the July 19 panel.

"We are beyond excited about this year's 'Korra' events and offerings at the Con and we're glad Nickelodeon has finally started revealing some details about it all," writes Konietzko on his Tumblr.

"The 'Legend of Korra' cast is going to be hosting a panel at the San Diego Comic Con on July 19th from 11:15 am-12:15 pm in Ballroom 20!" writes DiMartino on his Tumblr.

"Hmmmm...what do you think we'll be discussing at the panel?"

All this teasing is definitely pointing towards unveiling some solid Book 2: Spirits information for "Legend of Korra."
