Sims 4 news 2014 says that the upcoming EA and Maxis game will attend GamesCom event happening in Germany. Recent Sims 4 news 2014 reveals that the game has been initially planned to become a multiplayer game.

A post from Sims Community site revealed some intriguing Sims 4 news 2014 saying that the 4^th installment for the most popular simulation game from EA is originally planned to be multiplayer. The post cited an sfw file from Patrick Kelly's blog which apparently was deleted immediately, Sims Community reported. Furthermore, the post says, "Looks like The Sims 4 (or the multiplayer spin-off) was meant to be an online game after all, but after seeing the reactions after SimCity released, they scraped it (possibly, it could've been also from reactions on The Sims 3 Showtime social features)."

But according to the initial press release of the official Sims team, The Sims 4 will be a single-player and will not require any online connection. Furthermore, game developer said, "The Sims 4 celebrates the heart and soul of the Sims themselves, giving players a deeper connection with the most expressive, surprising and charming Sims ever in this single-player offline experience."

Earlier Sims 4 news 2014 confirmed that EA's simulation game will be showcased during the Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany. The highly anticipated event is scheduled from August 21-25. This gaming event will definitely provide more interesting Sims 4 news 2014 for the fans.

Also, The Sims 3's Twitter post made the Sims 4 news 2014 about Gamescom official. The tweet said, "Big Announcement! #TheSims4 will be revealed in Gamescom in Germany! The game will take the @EA stage to show off the game. #TheSimsLB"

Sims 4 is currently being developed by The Sims Studio together with Maxis, not like the current game, The Sims 3, which was created only by the Sims Studio. Sims 4 news released on May that the forthcoming game will be released at some point in early 2014 with compatibility to Windows and OS X users.
