Top 3 K-Pop Fan Creepy Stories

There's something about K-pop super fans that set them apart from any kind of other fan in this world. I'm not talking about the fans who just simply buy CDs, attend concerts, and admire from afar. I'm talking about the psycho fans who do insane things to get the attention of their favorite idols. These fans' lives revolve around their celebrities' schedules and the miles they go to be in their presence, to be noticed by them are both sickening and sad. Many have different points of view on this matter. Some say that the celebrities should learn how to deal with it because they chose to be in the public eye. Others, whom I agree with, say that there are boundaries and super crazy fans cross them and take their passion and obsessions to a whole new dangerous level. While they are celebrities, they are still human beings who are in jeopardy of getting seriously traumatized, hurt, or worse, even killed and it seems like many of these fans have no regard for their safety. Aside from the dangerous ones, there are also fans who are just plain eccentric, perverted, and creepy.Today, instead of delving into the serious, we're going to jump into the weird stories that made our skin crawl and stomachs turn.

2PM's Taecyeon received a letter from a superfan a few years back. Instead of it being a sweetly written note with hearts drawn around it and glitter sprinkled in the card, it was instead a piece of paper with the following words written in her period blood:

"I dedicate to Taecyeon my period blood letter. Ok Taecyeon, you cannot live without me. Sprinkled with a few strands of my pubes."

Netizens hunted her down and accused the fan of being a fake. To disapprove any doubt, not that any of us really cared to know the truth behind this grotesque incident, the fangirl posted up a photo of her bloody underwear to show off that she isn't a liar. Her minihompy was eventually attacked by equally crazy netizens and she soon had to apologize for her actions. Here's a question: what in the world is wrong with people these days? How is that normal behavior? Instead of maliciously destroying this girl through hateful comments, why doesn't someone help seek her some serious psychological help? Taec's bloody letter marks story one of our top three most creepiest stories.

Something about blood and K-pop fans go hand-in-hand. Back in 2009, two American fans sent Big Bang's G-Dragon and Taeyang two love letters blotted with specs of their own blood. The first fan cut her neck and palm for Taeyang's letter and the second slit her neck and wrist for G-dragon. The last sentence in G-dragon's letter was, " I will die 4 you." In the same month yet another bloody fan letter was sent to MBLAQ's Lee Joon. The Korean fan cut her wrist, took photos of the process and wrote these words to her idol,

"Lee Sang Sun (real name) don't forget me, you are everything to me. I love you. Remember that. Soojin."

Unreal.

Rounding off our top 3 creepy stories is one that involves Girls Generations' Taeyeon. The singer was performing with her 8 ladies on stage when a man walked on stage, pulled her away and attempted to "kidnap" her. He made it about 3 feet before he was jumped by a bunch of random Korean dudes including the MC of the show. What bothers me most about this clip is Taeyeon's obvious fear and confusion. A similar incident happened with INFINITE's Dongwoo who was dragged off stage by crazy fans.

We know you love your idols. They know you love them. No one says you can't dote on them and no one says you can't dedicate some of your hours to them, but make sure there are boundaries for their safety and for your mental sake. God bless.
