American Horror Story Season 3 Update: Taissa Farmiga Packs For New Orleans Coven Shoot, 2013 Trading Cards Released

There are still a few months left before "American Horror Story" season 3 premieres on FX in October, and actress Taissa Farmiga is ready to go on-location to New Orleans for her upcoming role.

In addition to Farmiga, other cast members returning for season 3, "Coven," include Sarah Paulson, Francis Conroy, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, and Jessica Lange.

Elle reports that newcomer Emma Roberts will join season 3 in a recurring role, and has moved to New Orleans to begin shooting as well.

"Actors don't really get a summer vacation," said the actress at a Museum of the Moving Image exhibition.

"For actors, our summer vacation happens in the winter. Summer comes along and everyone starts getting jobs!"

Robert will be joined by Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, and Patti LuPone to grace the "American Horror Story" anthology for the first time.

Currently, it appears the bulk of season 3 will be shot in New Orleans to capture the atmosphere need for "Coven," with select shoots in Los Angeles along the way.

"The fun thing is researching what are the really haunted places in America, and we have a couple doozy locales," teased Ryan Murphy during a Paley Fest interview.

In addition, "American Horror Story" will also receive its very own trading card series, produced by Breygent.

According to The Cardboard Connection, 16-card packs will begin selling next month, which will include 1 autograph or costume card, 1 promo card, 2 foil cards, and 12 base cards.

Given that this is only a preview pack, only 800 packs will be released initially, although I'm sure more will be produced should they gain popularity.
