Melissa Rauch moderates 'Big Bang Theory' Panel; Stephen Hawking Brings `Bazinga!’ Moments (Video)

Melissa Rauch, Summer from “True Blood,” moderated a “Big Bang Theory” writer’s panel at Comic-Con in San Diego. Although the panel was supposed to focus on the writers it was the series stars, Melissa Rauch and a surprise appearances by Johnny Galecki that stole the show.

Melissa Rauch moderated the “Big Bang Theory” session between the panelists Steve Molaro, Bill Prady, Eric Kaplan, Jim Reynolds, Steve Holland and Maria Ferrari, who write for the show and “Big Bang Theory”’s science adviser, David Saltzberg.

Not one to waste time better spent on geeky things, Melissa Rauch opened the session with questions from the audience, many of them in costumes from geek favorites, like “Star Wars.” One of the costumed Comic-Con connoisseurs came to the microphone dressed in Leia's Boushh bounty hunter disguise from "Return of the Jedi."

Not one to accept the anonymity of a fan, Rauch asked "Who are you?" to the disguised questioner, who pulled off his helmet to reveal himself as Johnny Galecki, who answered "Someone who loves you" before jumping on the stage and joining the panel.

The panel deflected questions about Season 7 of “Big Bang Theory. Galecki swore "I know nothing and we know it."

Steve Molaro admitted "We will see Leonard on the ship."

“Big Bang Theory” fans were invited into a virtual Writers' Room for the panel with the show's executive producers and writers and even got to take part in an experiment, what happens when you put seven comedy writers together with a science consultant on stage before a costumed audience?

The panel was introduced by Stephen Hawking, noted smart guy and atheist.
