Jenna Coleman On Matt Smith And Doctor Who 50th Anniversary: 'I'm The Luckiest Girl To Have Three Doctors!'

As the San Diego Comic-Con drew to a close, fans of "Doctor Who" got to chat and see its current leading stars Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman talk about the upcoming 50th Anniversary Special.

"There were days where I just had to pinch myself. Just the image of the three Doctors together and I'd be in a scene with them. It's just a dream," said Coleman regarding the 50th Anniversary to Zap2it.

"I'm really the luckiest girl to have three Doctors! And just the way to watch them work and the way they interact, I'm really excited about it."

Sadly, Coleman will soon say goodbye to the Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith, as he gets ready to leave after the Christmas Special.

"In the same way I was welcomed, I'm looking forward to giving that support and helping a new Doctor find his feet in what is going to be a really exciting adventure for him. Somebody doing a fresh take, it's a whole ... I don't know, we'll see. I'm not there yet!"

But the 50th Anniversary, at least, will be nothing but a culmination of everything fans of "Doctor Who" enjoy about the iconic series.

"Where we left off with 'Name of the Doctor,' the 50th is about a celebration of the Doctor. The resolve is there are echoes of Clara through all of time and space," said Jenna Coleman.

But where will Matt Smith end up once the 50th Anniversary and Christmas Special are over?

"I love Star Trek and I love J.J. Abrams," said Matt Smith during the "Doctor Who" panel.
