Tahiti, Tears at 1st Debut Anniversary 'We Will Reach the Top'

Girl group Tahiti showed tears at their 1st year debut anniversary.

Tahiti held a showcase for their 1st mini album "Five Beats of Hearts" in Seoul yesterday, where they held a cake-cutting event for their 1st year debut anniversary.

Leader Minjae said, "We held debut as our goal and came a long way while being trained, and it's already been a year since we reached that goal. There are still many things to achieve but we will always be trying harder."

Youngest member Ari said, "Thank you for coming to a stage that is of Tahiti and Tahiti only. Comeback in 9 months is a short time but we will prove that we've changed. I'm so thankful and nervous to be here. We've put in all of our attention and efforts into this comeback."

Jungbin, while talking, started tearing up while looking back to her training days. Jungbin said, "This is not only our showcase but also our 1st year debut anniversary. People still don't really know who Tahiti is but we hope that through this album people get to know us a little better."

When Jungbin showed tears, all other members flooded into tears. Jisoo said, "We tried really hard for our new song. We've learned a lot and we came this far by encouraging each other. We will consider this as our first step again. I also thank my parents."
