After "Doctor Who" hit the San Diego Comic-Con with great success, a few more thoughts have surfaced regarding the Christmas Special and 50th Anniversary.

During an interview with IGN, Jenna Coleman, the companion for Matt Smith's incarnation of the Doctor, she responded to some of the theories regarding Clara, the 50th Anniversary, and the Christmas Special.

In reference to executive producer Steven Moffat having written 20 pages, Coleman corrected that it's actually 24.

"And I don't want to until it's written, because I like reading a script for the first time in full and not really knowing too much about it so that every page turn you're seeing an episode in full. I prefer that to knowing ahead of time."

Jenna Coleman also responded to the theory that Clara will become the 12th Doctor after once Matt Smith steps down after the Christmas Special.

"You know I don't even know how that could possibly work in the timey-wimey universe. There's a thousand Claras already running around the place," added Coleman.

"I think if she were to start as The Doctor as well it would just get, I don't know, universal time-flux or something. I'm making up sci-fi words that I don't even understand!"

But Clara remains an integral part of the mythology, now that infinite version of her are chasing the Doctor in every timeline. Does this mean once the 50th Anniversary and Christmas Special are done, the 12th Doctor could travel with a different version of Clara?

"Well I suppose it's open. That's what's really interesting," teased Coleman. "But the 50th leaves the whole show going in a very different direction. It's kind of a transformational episode for the show."

"t changes everything. Really. So we're kind of on this blank canvas. I don't know where Steven [Moffat] is going to take it. I don't know who The [12th] Doctor is going to be yet. I don't know what our relationship is going to be."

"You know it's completely open, but in theory it could be a new Clara for the new Doctor even. You know a Clara could pop-up at any time in theory. I don't know if they will or not. It's definitely something that's been set-up, though."

Only time will tell what the 50th Anniversary and Christmas Special will bring for Jenna Coleman, her character Clara, and the 12th Doctor.
