The thriving rap superstar recently opened up about her road to the Grammys, and what it means to her and her fans. Donning a signature pink bob and some lengthy lashes, Nicki Minaj talks about past Grammys, future ones, and what this year's moment is all about.

"This year is about feeling like my fans and I have come a very long way, and we're just going to celebrate this moment. That's all that matters."

The Jamaica, Queens native is surprisingly modest, and isn't nervous. Instead, she is going in happy to be recognized, and grateful to show her fans how hard work will get you to your dreams.

Minaj is nominated for multiple awards, including Best New Artist, and will be performing live from Los Angeles' Staples Center, Feb. 12 at 8PM ET on CBS.
