Heidi Fleiss Stud Farm Now a Pot Farm; Nevada Cops Charge Former Hollywood Madam With Growing Almost 400 Marijuana Plants For Sale

Heidi Fleiss’s stud farm is getting a little green. Nevada police charged the former “Hollywood Madam,” Heidi Fleiss with pot possession after officers found almost 400 marijuana plants growing on her property in Pahrump. Heidi Fleiss was charged with intent to sell. Heidi Fleiss was not arrested.

The Nye County Sheriff's Department said they found 158 marijuana plants in Heidi Fleiss’ backyard and 234 more in a nearby house. The police were looking for a woman who was wanted for arrest and found the plants instead. The sheriff's office did not identify the person they were looking for but said that the person had already left before they got there. Heidi Fleiss, who was walking home from a nearby house, told the cops she was growing marijuana without a license and that she wanted to sell them to a cooperative in Las Vegas.

Sheriff Anthony De Meo told CNN that Fleiss avoided arrest because, "we don't have facilities for exotic birds, and they are pretty rare and very expensive." A statement from Pahrump police said: "Ms. Fleiss could not produce the necessary documentation to support this. Later she admitted, in a roundabout way, that she was going to get a license because she did not have one."

In the 1990s Heidi Fleiss, the daughter of a prominent Los Angeles doctor, was nicknamed the “Hollywood Madam” after she was accused of running a high priced call girl ring in Southern California. Fleiss never revealed her clients’ names, but actor Charlie Sheen testified that he paid thousands of dollars for the services of her prostitutes. After two trials, Fleiss was convicted on federal tax evasion charges. She served nearly two years in prison.

A county sheriff said Heidi Fleiss may face charges after the 392 plants were found at her desert home in Nevada.

Deputies also found a lights and several bottles of chemicals used to cultivate marijuana at Heidi Fleiss’s house. The pot plants were confiscated as evidence. The equipment has been reportedly destroyed.

Heidi Fleiss wasn’t arrested because she was caring for exotic birds worth $200,000. The police also said that Heidi Fleiss was cooperative during the investigation. The case has been turned over to prosecutors for potential filing of marijuana possession charges.
