Kim Kardashian is too self conscious to go out until she loses more baby weight, an inside source said.

Kim Kardashian didn't go to little sister Kendall Jenner's sweet sixteen over the weekend because she didn't want to leave the house due to her weight.

Early reports said she couldn't find a babysitter for North West, her baby daughter...but we're guessing that can't have been difficult.

 Kim Kardashian has already lost thirty pounds in a month since she had her new baby with daddy Kanye West....but she won't go anywhere until another 30 are whittled off.

'She's always complaining about her size. She says she hates looking this way and won't go out again until she is skinnier,' an inside source and friend of Kanye West said.

Friends are worried about Kim, a a new report in Us Weekly says.

Kim Kardashian is weight-obsessed, friends say. She refuses to step back into society until she is back at her goal weight.

'She's extremely self-conscious about her current body,' a  different source told the magazine.

'She said when she comes out and gets photographed for the first time, she wants to look hot, hot, hot.'

Kim Kardashian has hired a trainer to visit her at her mother Kris Jenner's home five times a week and is on a strict diet. She is eating lots of lean protein and vegetables, cooked by a chef, while Kanye gets "homemade fried chicken and mac 'n' cheese'" cooked by Kim.

Kim was photographed during the last days of her pregnancy...but she won't go anywhere until it looks like it never happened, friends say. It may take a while.

'The weight is not coming off as quickly. She plateaued. This is the hard part now,' a Kardashian insider said.

Kim has only shown her face, not the body, to the world during quick videos posted online.

Kanye West wants her to feel better and is trying to compliment her.

'Kanye tells her she's beautiful. He wants to boost her confidence and goes out of his way so she doesn't have to ask. But it wears Kanye out to hear her being down on herself," an insider said.
