Lost UFO Documentary By Walt Disney Surfaces In 2013: Is 'Alien Encounters' Promotional Video Or Legitimate Views?

As UFO sightings appear to become more common by the day, a lost UFO documentary has surfaced in 2013 called "Alien Encounters from New Tomorrowland" made by none other than Walt Disney Television.

The UFO documentary was uploaded onto YouTube in 2013 last month by self-proclaimed ufologist, M. Morin.

"In March of 1995, Walt Disney Television aired a most intriguing one-hour television special on UFOs titled Alien Encounters from New Tomorrowland. This highly unusual UFO video special presents UFOs and alien visitation to our planet as a matter of fact," write Morin in the 2013 video description.

"Though the film's existence is acknowledged by the respected website of the Internet Movie Database, you will not find it available anywhere for purchase. Those who tracked this incredible production stated that it was shown only once, and with no advance notice on stations in only five U.S. cities."

One thing to note about this UFO documentary is that it arrived around the same time as a new ride called New Tomorrowland in Disney World. So, this UFO documentary could very well be a promotional tool by Disney.

However, it is unusual that such an elaborate video (totally nearly 45 minutes) would be made only to have it air for such a small audience in the country.

"Considering the very limited showing and audience, and the highly unusual stance on UFOs taken, many suspect that this program was a probe to measure public reaction to news of the reality of visitation and interaction with various forms of non-human intelligent life on Earth. The 10-minute section on alien abductions seems particularly designed to scare viewers," continues Morin.

If this is indeed footage produced by Disney to gauge viewer reactions, what prompted such a move by the company?
