Google Explains Kentucky UFO Sighting, But Witness Doubts 'Project Loon' Claim, Cheap Publicity Stunt By Company?

A UFO sighting from last October continues to be questioned by UFO enthusiasts, despite Google taking claim for the object.

The witness of the UFO sighting, Allen Epling, took pictures of the balloon-like object last year, which mystified the amateur astronomer.

"When I looked through the binoculars, I saw something that I couldn't identify and I'd never seen anything like it before," recalled Epling. According to UFO Sightings Daily, reports of the UFO sighting surfaced in at least states.

However, Google has since taken responsibility for the UFO sighting, claiming it was a program called "Project Loon."

"The new program consists of balloons that fly high above Earth's surface, forming a communication network. The aim is to bring internet to a large portion of the world's population, who otherwise wouldn't be connected," writes UFO Sightings Daily Scott Waring.

However, Epling is not buying the claim, saying that "the photos of balloons that Google launched don't match the video of what I saw."

"It'd be easy for one to say 'well, that's my object. I take credit for it.' And Google may be looking for some cheap publicity."

Ouch.

Despite the UFO sighting being balloon, air-like, do you think Google is responsible for such a media debacle, or is this a true UFO sighting?
