Shemar Moore, playing the fan-favorite Derek Morgan on the show provided some Criminal Minds Season 9 spoilers, which definitely caused excitement to fans. Morgan provided some insights to his Facebook fans, revealing what viewers can expect from Criminal Minds Season 9.

One, Shemar Moore, shared that there will be a new BAU Section Chief arriving on Criminal Minds Season 9. Esai Morales will replace Director Erin Strauss (played by Jayne Atkinson) who was killed in the finale of Season 8.

Shemar Moore provided more Criminal Minds Season 9 spoilers revealing an occasion that will be celebrated by the hit CBS show in the forthcoming season. According to Moore, Criminal Minds will celebrate its 200th episode in Season 9.

As for more Criminal Minds Season 9 spoilers, Joe Mantegna, who is playing to role of David Rossi, will get his first directorial gig for the show this season. Mantegna is set to direct his first episode of Criminal Minds, according to a report from The Examiner.

Furthermore, fans are also excited regarding the close relationship of Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia. Some are also excited with the possibility of a romantic relationship between the two.
