Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Still Together! ‘Twerk’ Queen Back On Wedding Planning After (In)famous ‘We Can’t Stop' and Blurred Lines’ VMAs 2013 Performance

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth just might be saying their I-do's after all. The "Hannah Montana" star is reported to be back to wedding planning mode. This came shortly after the MTV Video Music Awards last August 25, where she performed a very (in)famous number.

A source tells HollywoodLife.com, "Miley hasn't talked about her wedding in ages, but she's started getting excited about it again. She had a bride magazine with her the last time I saw her."

Hemsworth's absence during the awards night was highly noted by fans and followers, and has raised speculations about the status of the couple's relationship. But what made quite a stir that evening was the singer's highly controversial duet with Robin Thicke, where she twerked and gyrated - receiving mixed reviews from viewers.

But the Bangerz artist didn't seem to be bothered by the negative feedback she received. She tweeted, "Smilers! My VMA performance had 306.000 tweets per minute. That's more than the blackout or Superbowl! #fact."

She also quoted Rolling Stone, saying, "Miley was the one star in the room who truly understood what the MTV Video Music Awards are all about! - Rolling Stone" and "Miley stole the night, which is why the nation is still in recovery today. Thanks, Miley... - Rolling Stone"

Despite rumors going around about her VMA performance, the source confirms to Hollywood Life, "As far as I know, there's no date or any plans made but it seems like things are really back on track again for her and Liam."

The 20-year old singer's Bangerz album is set to be released on October 4, but it's getting some real buzz even while still on pre-sale. Its lead single "We Can't Stop", released on June 3, is a certified RIAA double platinum; while the promotional single "Wrecking Ball", released on August 25, is getting rave reviews.

Incidentally, many speculate that "Wrecking Ball" is dedicated to her fiancé. But if the wedding is still on, why would she have to sing Liam a song about troubled romance?
