Girl group TAHITI has been chosen as the K-Pop idols of the 'hallyu' wave.

On August 30, the group's agency revealed that TAHITI had been chosen to make an appearance on Shanghai TV.

This show features hot K-Pop idol groups as well as other hot cultural issues.

The producer for the show commented, "TAHITI has recently received much attention in China and have shown potential to be not only musicians but also an overall star in this industry."

TAHITI's first mini album title song, "Love Sick" also ranked high on the China Yin Yue Tai charts and received many views online. This could be the starting point for TAHITI's fame in China as a K-Pop icon.
