Remember when Lana Del Rey bombed on Saturday Night Live? As much as we'd like to forget about it, the performance made the Brooklyn-based singer a media target.

Well, SNL finally addressed the infamous performance on February 4 when Kristen Wiig (dressed as Del Rey) defended the incident on "Weekend Update."

"Based on the public's response, I must have clubbed a baby seal while singing the Taliban national anthem," she said.

She added, "In this age of dangerous school bullying, you have sent an important message -- if you think someone is weird you should criticize them as much as possible." Burn!
