Actor Cha Seung Won will be joining the same agency as Big Bang and Goo Hye Sun - YG Entertainment.

According to an entertainment rep on September 5, "Cha Seung Won decided to move to YG Entertainment. It's been revealed that a rep from his previous agency, which he was close to, recently moved to YG Entertainment, so Cha Seung Won naturally decided to move as well. It's also been decided that Im Ye Jin will be moving to YG Entertainment along with Cha Seung Won."

Although currently YG Entertainment is more focused on singers rather than actors, Cha Seung Won's move to the agency will most likely help expand the company's devotion to its actors. YG's Yang Hyun Suk said at the press conference for "WIN," "YG is predominantly a singer agency, and so we haven't been able to focus a lot on the actors. But we decide to change that in the future, and come up with a better system for actors in our agency."

Cha Seung Won started as a model in 1988. After 10 years of modeling, he moved on to become an actor, and appeared in popular dramas such as "Bodyguard," "City Hall," "Athena," and more, not to mention his role in a plethora of blockbuster movies. Currently he is working in director Jang Jin's movie "High Heel."
