BEAST Yang Yoseob and Jo Sumi’s Fantastic Duet

BEAST member Yang Yoseob recently sang a duet with world renowned soprano Jo Sumi.

On September 14 and 15, Yang Yoseob attended Jo Sumi's 'La Fantasia' park concert, held at the Olympic Park outdoor stage, and sang a duet with the world famous soprano singer.

According to his agency, Yang Yoseob wore a classic black suit to the concert. Jo Sumi said "A beautiful mind begets a beautiful world" poem, and affectionately introduced Yang Yoseob to the stage. Fans responded with a resounding round of applause. She continued, "Deepness (profoundness) can really move people. I hope Yoseob's songs will receive a lot of love from fans everywhere."

Jo Sumi and Yang Yoseob faced each other, took hand in hand, and sang the duet "Person, Love" with heavenly harmony. The song is about a precious and unchanging love, and left a strong impression with many of the audience members.

In the following performances, Yang Yoseob sang the song "Mother" and showed off his distinctive sweet and rich vocals. The song "Mother" plays an interesting part in how Yang Yoseob came to stand on the same stage as Jo Sumi at 'La Fantasia.' It was said that Jo Sumi saw Yang Yoseob's rendition of "Mother" on YouTube, and was so moved she proposed that the two sing together at her concert.

After the performances, Yang Yoseob wrote on his own social networking site, "To the great teacher Jo Sumi, who allowed me to stand on this great stage, thank you so much. Thank you for all the people who made my voice shine with the orchestra. It was a really great experience and a good study for me. Thank you also for everyone in the audience who came and cheered for us."
