Blockbuster Korean Movie 'The Spy' Coming to North American Theaters September 27th!

The #1 hit movie in Korea this September is coming to the USA.  Those who are fans of the intrigue and suspense of action-thrillers are in for a treat.

CJ Entertainment America has just recently announced that heart-thumping action-thriller ‘The Spy’ will be released in North American theaters on September 27th. That was quick!  After all it's only been less than a month since it started playing in Korean movie theaters.

You want me to tell you why you should see this movie?  Reading the description, it is about a special agent and his wife and another man.  But, no it’s not really just about a love triangle.  It is beginning to sound like this film is “Mr and Mrs Smith” + “Changing Partners” in one movie.  However, for the sake of namedropping, the gorgeous Daniel Henney should be enough reason to plan to see this film.

For K-movie fans though, the powerhouse behind this film is reason to go and expect a great film.  It is brought to you by the same team that brought about ‘Haeundae’ and ‘Quick’.  Plus, it promises a lot of comedy also. And lead actors Seol Kyung Gu and Moon So Ri are internationally-acclaimed for their award-winning work in Korean films.

If I can’t move you enough, then maybe the trailer will do?

“The Spy” will only be playing in select theaters in North America, so be sure to plan your movie date ahead.  According to the official website, the movie will be released in California (Los Angeles, La Habra), New York, Illinois (Chicago), Texas (Dallas), Georgia (Atlanta), Washington (Seattle), and Hawaii (Honolulu). It will also play in Canadian moviehouses via Toronto and Vancouver.
