DSP Media is Not Looking for New Members for KARA

DSP Media, agency responsible in managing K-Pop girl group Kara recently announced that they are not in the midst of hiring some new members for KARA even if one member is set to leave the company, Nicole.

Kim Sung Hee was first to leave KARA way back in the year 2008 but it was immediately resolved by the agency having new recruits; Hara and Jiyoung as they joined the group, but speculation arises as Nicole's contract in DSP will be set to naturally expire.

DSP Media chosed to explain their side to Star News today saying, "Nicole, who shows no intention of renewing her contract, will have her contract end as scheduled this coming January. Even if Nicole leaves Kara, there are no plans to recruit new member(s)."

They continued by explaining "Given each member's already established image and popularity, we are hesitant to recruit a new member and reorganize the team. Although there are speculations of possibly recruiting a new member, if you look only at the current situation, the possibility of that happening is considerably low."

DSP Media also assured fans that it will not affect KARA's upcoming Japanese tour, stating, "The final date for their Japanese arena tour has been set for Kobe on November 24. Until the tour ends, all five members will perform on stage together as planned."
