But this doesn't mean that they are necessarily getting a divorce. However, Brody didn't give a straight answer.
"I stay out of their business, but as far as I'm concerned, they haven't split up," the former star of "The Hills" reportedly tells the UK's Now Magazine.
Brody gave a more likely reason behind their separation: "Dad's been in Malibu -- he grew up out here -- and the press has made a big deal of it. It's nothing to do with them breaking up."
Brody Jenner added that his father Bruce moved into the Malibu summer home to get some space while Kris takes on the role as grandma to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby, North "Nori" West.
Brody also touched on his often strained relationship with Kris Jenner, which has been steadily improving as he has gotten older, The Inquisitr reports.
"My relationship [with Kris] is getting better now, but for a long time growing up I didn't see her that much and didn't trust her intentions.' he told the UK's Now Magazine.
Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner have often been the subject of divorce rumors. This week, Kris's younger sister Karen Houghton said that Bruce and Kris were "separated" and that Bruce already had a lawyer for the upcoming divorce proceedings, The Inquisitr writes.
However, Houghton said it is very likely that they will be able to sort out their differences.
"Their relationship goes back and forth. I would love to see them get back together," Houghton said.
