A new UFO sighting video has shocked the public, with some purporting that a green alien can be seen landing below the UFO.

Uploaded by UFO sighting enthusiast jcattera, the video was reportedly captured in southeast Michigan.

"I captured this footage on my home security camera on the night of Oct 2, 2013 around 11pm in the evening in my front yard in southeast MI, and I'm about 8 miles north of an air national guard base," writes jcattera in the video description.

"The UFO appears to be scanning the ground with a green laser (the laser beam can be seen on the trees too)," writes UFO Sightings Daily founder Scott Waring.

"The laser beam clearly starts small from the object and fans out into a larger cone as it gets closer to the ground. In my opinion, [it's] impossible for someone to be on the ground creating an inverted cone back to the object, and then to be able to track and follow the object's every move at the same time."

So far, viewers are divided regarding the validity of the UFO sighting, with some calling it either a weather balloon or a helicopter.

"It's real, a real RC quad-copter with LED lights on it," writes Neo Racer.

"Have you noticed if the level of your pond dropped after these sightings ? It is quite odd that this craft kept coming back and searching on the same spots. Unless if they are removing some minerals from underneath the surface. These guys can dematerialize matter and transport it through a light beam. Thanks for sharing," writes jarongaus.
