Pokemon X And Y CoroCoro October Scans [PHOTOS]: Mega Evolution Update Confirms Tyranitar And Aggron, Final Starters Evolutions Unveiled!

Pokemon X and Y are just around the corner, and the October CoroCoro scans are surfaced, confirming the final starters evolutions and more Mega Evolution updates.

As many fans already know due to early leaks of X and Y, the final starters evolutions are indeed Delphox, Chesnaught, and Greninja.

But it is the Mega Evolution updates that truly take the spotlight in this CoroCoro October leak.

Firstly, we have the first images official images of Mega Gengar and Mega Kangaskhan.

While we know Mega Kangaskhan can now hit twice thanks to its baby joining the fray, the news is that Mega Gengar gains the Shadow Tag ability.

Shadow Tag prevents all foes from switching out or fleeing, except for rare exceptions (U-Turn, Baton Pass etc.).

In addition, the Pokemon X and Y CoroCoro October scans confirm the already rumored Mega Tyranitar and Mega Aggron.

Much like Mega Pinsir and Mega Heracross, these two Mega Evolution entries are exclusive to either X or Y.

Mega Aggron is exclusive to Y and becomes a pure Steel-type and gains the ability Filter. Filter reduces super effective damage by 25%.

Meanwhile, Mega Tyranitar is exclusive to X and retains its Sand Storm ability as well as its typing.

And next month, CoroCoro will have even more surprises waiting in store, starting with a special serial code that will give fans access to their special Garchomp.

This Garchomp holds a Dragon Fang, and has the moves Crunch, Dragon Claw, Dig, and Draco Meteor. And if you're wondering about the location of its Mega Stone in X and Y, it will also be revealed next month!
