Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware for various HTC One US models has already started to arrive, while some models are still waiting for the update. However, an official from HTC ascertains that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for other models will come soon.

Verizon HTC One is among the remaining models still to get the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. And according to reports, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware for Verizon HTC One will roll out by late-October. But as posted on IB Times, there are customers still concerned regarding the certainty of this release date.

Earlier, there were worries that the arrival of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update would entail that the Verizon HTC One would not experience the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean anymore. But Jason Mackenzie, HTC President, claimed that it is not the care, updating the fans and consumers about the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date schedule. Mackenzie reiterated that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update release date for Verizon HTC One is set for late-October.

Unlike the Verizon HTC One, the AT&T and Sprint models for the HTC One already received the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update within the first 2 weeks of October. Moreover, the  4.3 Jelly Bean is pegged for  a mid-October release for T-Mobile HTC One .

Meanwhile, there is still no certainty whether the Verizon Galaxy Nexus will receive Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update or not. The firmware immediately became available to several Nexus devices like the GSM Galaxy Nexus. However, months later, Verizon Galaxy Nexus has still not experienced the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for HTC One will bring in some features such as OpenGL ES 3.0, Bluetooth LE, and Android DayDream. Furthermore, Verizon HTC One update will include an upgraded HTC's Sense 5 UI, as well as other carrier specific features.
