JYJ Jaejoong 'A Sunny Day' Offers Sweet Melody and Harmony with Lee Sang Gon

JYJ member Jaejoong gave fans a beautiful preview of his upcoming solo studio album with the release of "A Sunny Day."

The pre-release single is a smooth and gentle ballad that was recorded with Noel's Lee Sang Gon. The two men's voices blend nicely together with passion and power to deliver the eloquently written lyrics.

"A Sunny Day" is the product of songwriter Baek Moo Hyun and allows for Jaejoong and Lee Sang Gon to drive the melody with their remarkable harmony.

The single was released ahead of WWW, Jaejoong's first full-length album as a solo artist, which is expected to drop on October 29.

His agency, C-JeS, previously said that the album will contain a lot of influence from rock and roll, similar to his EP, I, released in January of this year.

I did so well after its release that fan and critics alike have nothing but high hopes for WWW. The EP debuted at number one on both the Hanteo and GaOn weekly music charts and broke pre-order records in Japan. It also sat at the top of iTunes rock charts in nine different countries.

Additionally all 140,000 initial copies of the EP completely sold out within two weeks, and the repackaged album, Y, sold out within one day.

"A Sunny Day" indicates that Jaejoong will be striking a balance between hard and soft in the new solo project. The ballad track is the perfect lead in for WWW which is expected to wow audiences at the end of the month.
