For the Pokemon X and Y anime, episode 1 is titled "Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin!" and aired on October 17 in Japan. And so far, fans seem to love the new direction and animation of the series.
"This episode was wonderful and enjoyable, I think I haven't feel so entertained by a Pokémon episode in like 3 years, I was watching the whole time," writes RickHoenn on Serebii.
"The introduction to the XY series was great. My favorite part in the episode was the battle between Ash and Clemont," adds Morning Sun.
"The animation was really well done and I hope it stays this way for the duration of the series."
One thing that fans have noticed is the difference in animation style, and according to various sources, the new Pokemon X and Y anime is in fact animated by the same studio who worked on the special, "Pokemon: The Origin."
