It's a precious day for Halle Berry and her husband Olivier Martinez for they are welcoming the arrival of their first child together.

The baby boy, who has been named Maceo Robert, was born Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. His older sister, 5-year-old Nahla, reportedly cannot hide her excitement for the newest addition to their family. Nahla is Berry's child with model Gabriel Aubry.

When her pregnancy went public, the 'Movie 143' star expressed her surprise and awe over the fact that she is indeed conceiving:  "This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful."

Berry previously called her pregnancy a "miracle" because at the age of 46, she did not expect to have another blessing.

Martinez and Berry met in 2010 while working on the film 'Dark Tide' which revolves around shark attacks. The two got married in France in July.
