Miley Cyrus Bangerz Tour 2014 Announcement On 'SNL', Wrecking Ball Singer Invites Fans On Twitter

Miley Cyrus Bangerz tour 2014 plans were revealed by the twerk herself on the 'Saturday Night Live', October 26, 2013.

No, Cyrus was not there to host the show, as many would have wanted, especially after her government shutdown parody earlier this month. The Wrecking Ball singer appeared during the first few minutes of the show to announce her highly anticipated Bangerz tour, the complete details for which are available on the singer's website.

"I'm really great. Really quick, I'd just like to announce to all of my fans that I am about to be going on tour," said the Hanna Montana star.

A few minutes later, Cyrus tweeted the invitation for her upcoming tour, to the great delight of her fans and followers.

On the Saturday Night Live show hosted by Edward Norton, Cyrus also have tips to Norton on how to host the show successfully. No points for guessing that sticking the tongue out makes for a great gig, according to Cyrus.

The Bangerz tour 2014 has been in news ever since the album was released on October 8, 2013. Last week, 'little person' Jane Hollis, who was a part of the infamous Cyrus VMA 2013 performance refused to be a part of the Bangerz' tour. In her blog, Hollis wrote that it was emotionally excruciating for her to part of the VMA performance alongside the 'twerking' Cyrus.

"I had never been in a performance where I was purely meant to be gawked or laughed at," wrote Hollis.

Miley Cyrus's VMA performance attracted a lot of flak from co-artists, majority of which were cited as hypocritical. Earlier in October, Robin Thicke blamed Cyrus for the VMA controversy, saying he was just performing, paying little attention to what Miley was doing, which is twerking and grinding against him.

Hollis and Thicke had both rehearsed for the performance and knew what was in it for them. Coming out on Cyrus after the controversy only added to the publicity of the teen sensation.
