According to two leaked images, Latias and Latios have Mega Evolution entries within the Kalos Pokedex, although they look nearly identical.

Pokejungle writes that these images were taken by an anonymous hacker through RAM editing with a hardware-hacked 3DS and partial decryption of the file system.
Although these two Mega Evolution forms of Latias and Latios look very similar, some have noticed a slight difference in size, and an eye color difference, although others believe it to simply be the angle.
Like with any rumors, these Pokemon X and Y Mega Evolution images could very well be fakes. If they are real, however, it means more hidden Pokemon lie within the games and could be unveiled during an event.
The Latias, Latios Mega Evolution rumor has also added discussion on the already fervent rumors surrounding a Ruby and Sapphire remake.
"Surprised no else has said this yet, but the Latis being from Hoenn. HURRNN CONFIRMED," writes Mike on Pokejungle.
As fans may know Pokemon X and Y has many references regarding the Hoenn region throughout the games.
In the latest screenshot, NPCs within X and Y can be seen talking about the region made famous by Ruby and Sapphire all those years ago.
"Game Freak always does these kind of 'references,'" writes Nintendo All Stars on Instagram. "For example, in Pokemon Pearl/Diamond, there's this town where they have a portal for Celebi and one dude in the game talked about that in his he had tons of GOLD and SILVER."
"I've heard it's going to be an add-on to the games," says X_carnage_X.
What do you think of these Pokemon X and Y Mega Evolution photos? Do they indicate a possible remake or add-on involving the Hoenn region?
