Sony Xperia Z1 Mini price, release date and specs - all these would soon to be finalized and revealed next week once the Japanese tech behemoth unveils the compact version of the flagship on November 12.

Mobile accessories retailer Hedocell is selling a Sony Xperia Z1 Mini Stylus with Strap Pink on its site for $8.99 and Distinctive Style has a screen protector for the yet to be released gadget for $4.99.

Mobile phone accessories signify the marketing potential of a specific handset. The availability of these products give a hint the possibility of the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini to be well-received.

It is important to note that reviewers are hailing the 4.3-inch downsized model of the Sony Xperia Z1 as the first “mini” Android handset to feature maximum hardware specs. Excluding the display and slightly shorter battery life, the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini has under the hood specs exactly similar to the bigger model where it derived its name and reference.

The upcoming device has a powerful Snapdragon 800 system chip and an impressive 20MP camera with a larger than usual 1/2.3” camera sensor. Phone Arena also noted that it will have the same sleek water and dust resistant body.

Price for the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini is still unknown, but if previous “Mini” versions are any reference, the handset could be between $100-200 cheaper than the original flagship. This would peg the compact to possibly be priced at around $400-500.
