Director Kwak Kyung Taek Has His Eye on Miss A's Suzy

Kwak Kyung Taek, the director of critically acclaimed hits "Friends" and "Mutt Boy", has expressed a desire to cast Suzy in the near future.

On KBS's interview show "1 vs 100", Kwak Kyung Taek was asked a question about who he believes is a promising future movie star. He answered that it was Miss A's Suzy, adding that her performance on "Architecture 101" was phenomenal. He said, "I want to see her in a stronger role, possibly with an accent."

He turned to the camera to send a photo message directly to Suzy, asking her to not turn him down when he sends her a script in the near future.

Kwak Kyung Taek commented that filming "Friends 2" was a unique experience. He said, "It was the first time in my 15 year career as a movie director that I personally sought out the actors. In the case of Kim Woo Bin, I went to the school that he was filming the drama 'School' and cast him into the movie personally."

On his upcoming project, he commented, "I only directed dark, grungy films like 'Friends' and 'Mutt Boy', and it's making me into a darker person as well. I want to direct a melodrama or a comedy in the future." Perhaps he will star Suzy in a more light-hearted work.

This week's "1 vs 100" featured Director Kwak as well as SHINee's Taemin as guests.
