Godzilla 2014 Rumors: Trailer To Be Attached To The Hobbit, Muto The Spider Kaiju To Debut In Reboot?

As 2014 looms ever closer, rumors regarding the "Godzilla" 2014 remake have surfaced which could excite fans.

First, while the elusive "Godzilla" 2014 trailer has been much sought after since its initial leak, a mysterious Twitter user is purporting that it will be attached to "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug."

"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" will be released in theaters December 13, so if this rumors is true, fans should be able to witness "Godzilla" 2014 on the big screen for the first time next month.

In addition, the same Twitter user says "Interstellar" will also be attached to "The Hobbit."

Meanwhile, another rumor that has fans excited comes from BloodyDisgusting.

Reportedly, the toy site UrbanCollector believes that a new monster (kaiju) will debut in the "Godzilla" 2014 reboot by the name of Muto.

It will allegedly be a spider-like kaiju, and sounds a bit like the old Toho monster Kumonga from "Son of Godzilla."

"According to the journal of the now deceased Dr. Matsumia, Kumonga was a type of very large spider to dwell in the jungle of Sogellel Island. However, exposure to the radioactive storm created by the UN's failed weather experiment transformed Kumonga into a 45-meter tall monster," says the Godzilla Wiki.

It is believed that several kaiju will appear in the movie, and Muto could be one of them.
