Legend Of Korra Director Creates Contest For Book 2 Episode 11: Ratings Rising After Timeslot Change

"The Legend of Korra" will air Book 2 episode 11 tomorrow night, and its director has created a contest to celebrate the occasion.

"The Legend of Korra" Book 2 episode 11 is directed by Colin Heck, and the artist has taken to Tumblr to advertise an interesting contest for Korra fans.

"To celebrate the airing of my favorite episode, I'd like to have a little contest. I'm going to post three weird drawings that I did for the animatic version of the show. You post screen caps of the actual beautiful Mir animation that resulted from these weird drawings, and I'll email you a drawing of your favorite Korra character signed (digitally, in Photoshop) by as many of my coworkers that I can coerce," writes Heck on his Tumblr.

"Tag #NOATS or  #cbheck or #colin heck in your post and I'll see it. I'll only do one drawing per character (so for example, anybody that requests Bolin will get the same Bolin drawing), but I'll personalize each one when I send it somehow. Clear enough? No? Here we go anyway!"

So for all the Tumblr users out there, be sure to watch the episode tomorrow night to earn yourself a personalized drawing from "The Legend of Korra" director!

Meanwhile, it appears the final timeslot change has helped the second half of Book 2 in terms of ratings a great deal.

As some fans know, "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 has struggled in terms of ratings compared to Book 1, and after airing eight episodes, has seen a continual drop from episode to episode.

But after switching the timeslot to Fridays at 8:00pm EST, episode 9 and 10 have risen in terms of ratings.

Episode 9 titled "The Guide" saw a viewership of 2.47 million (compared to the previous episode, which only saw 1.73 million), and episode 10 titled "A New Spiritual Age" recorded 2.22 million viewers.

So be sure to check out the episode tomorrow night and keep the momentum going!
