But before you can get your hands on the "Doctor Who" 50th Anniversary, here are some clips from the behind-the-scenes special featuring David Tennant, Matt Smith, and John Hurt.

Meanwhile, "Doctor Who" after the 50th Anniversary has had much discussion, including season 8 and the possible reprisal of Kate Stewart, played by Jemma Redgrave.

Jemma Redgrave will be in "The Day of the Doctor," and during a recent interview with the Independent, she took the time to talk about filming for the landmark event, as well as season 8.

"Yes, I come across a Dalek. There was no acting required. It was a scarifying moment..." admitted Redgrave. "I work with more than one Doctor... oh, and I worked with more than one TARDIS as well."

And regarding a possible return with new Doctor Peter Capaldi, Redgrave remained hopeful.

"The community of Who fans have been very kind to me. Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart was such a loved character and I think people were very open to his daughter making an appearance and, hopefully, touch wood, making more appearances in the future. I think Peter Capaldi is a very exciting prospect as the new Doctor, so that would be wonderful."
