Korea and France’s leading style icon have met.

Lee Hyori held a surprise meeting with Jane Birkin a well-known French actress, singer and model at Imperial Palace Hotel on March 21.

The famous Hermes ‘Birkin’ handbag was named after Jane Birkin who is a powerful style icon, she met with Lee Hyori before her world tour performance at AX-Korea on March 22. Lee Hyori debuted as the leader of girl group FINKL in 1998, referred as first generation idol. And has come to be known as an actress and leading fashion icon as well.

The meeting took place to receive to receive Jane Birkin's personal possessions to be donated for the upcoming charity held for Lee Hyroi's 'Golden 12' airing on cable channel Onstyle.

Jane Birkin surprised everyone by gladly giving her first Hermes watch that has her signature on the leather wrist band. Jane Birkin expressed her joy being able to help in a small way for a meaningful project. It is said that Lee Hyori couldn't hide her joy and gratitude towards Jane Birkin for giving such meaningful personal possession.

Jane Birkin plans to perform Serge Gainsbourg music who is her husband and music colleague and Lee Hyori also expressed her willingness to attend at the invitation to Jane Birkin’s performance.
