Minecraft PS3 release date will happen earlier than the arrival of the PS4 version of the hit Mojang game.

4J Studios, the company which will port the open-world sandbox game to gaming consoles, recently announced that Minecraft PS3 release date will be set before the launch of the PS4 edition.

According to a Twitter post made by the game company, as cited on Gamer Headlines,  "We're hard at work getting Minecraft: PS3 Edition ready for testing just now. The other platforms & TU14 will be later," said 4J Studios on the social platform.

It should be noted that no official and specific Minecraft PS3 release date was announced yet. However, there is a post on IGN sets December 31, 2013 as Minecraft PS3 release date. Until 4J Studios make confirmation regarding this alleged Minecraft PS3 release date, this information should be taken with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, as for other fresh news regarding Minecraft, Mojang recently launched the latest version of the game, which activated the one-click Twitch streaming feature.

In-game Twitch streaming for Minecraft was initially introduced during Minecon 2013, which happened early this month. And just recently, Mojang announces that this feature is already available, through the latest snapshot of the game, which "basically an unfinished, experimental build of the game," as reported on a separate post on IGN. Mojang also noted that at this stage, the latest Minecraft snapshot "may be a little buggy."

To setup this Twitch streaming feature, players only need to Mojang account settings and then connect the Mojang and Twitch accounts. Afterwards, players can tweak the quality settings by through the Broadcast Options section that can be found on the in-game Options menu.

And by simply pressing the F6 button or whatever key the player assign, streaming of the gameplay will already begin.  

For now, the one-click Twitch streaming feature is only limited to Windows XP and higher Windows OS versions, as well as the Mac OS X Lion 10.7.
