Mick Jagger has seven children, that he admits to, and four grandchildren. Jade Jagger's daughter will add one great grandchild.

Mick Jagger's granddaughter Assisi, who is 21, due to give birth in the new year.

Jade Jagger, Mick's daughter, made the announcement in an interview with The Sunday Times Style magazine. She said "It is true. I am going to be a grandmother."

Will this put mold on the Rolling Stone? No, says Jade, "I think making Mick a grandfather obviously had a big impact whereas, now, making him a great-grandfather is no longer particularly fascinating."

Mick celebrated his 70th birthday party in July with his family and friends at the Loulou private members club in Mayfair, England. The party capped a series of shows commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Rolling Stones that included Charlie Watts, 72, Keith Richards, 69, and Ronnie Wood, 66. Brian Jones, who formed the band, died in July, 1969. Ian Stewart, who played piano for the band since it was formed, but was never an official member, died in 1985. Bill Wyman, the bass player, quit and Mick Taylor, who replaced Brian Jones, quit after It's Only Rock and Roll in 1974.
