Mission Impossible 5 Cast: Is Simon Pegg Going To Get Major Exposure In The Franchise? - ‘I've Already Started Eating One Carrot A Day In Order To Be In Shape,’ Says Pegg

Simon Pegg rejoins Mission Impossible 5 cast once again. He will be portraying the role of Benji Dunn, the go to guy of Ethan Hunt for his mind-blowing gadgets and technical support on the previous franchise of the film.

The English comedian actor confirms that he will be coming back for the much anticipated spy film adventure.

Before rejoining Mission Impossible 5 cast, the 43-year old actor was first part of the third installment of the espionage movie franchise. In Mission Impossible 3, Pegg played a small part, his role was mainly to provide details on the MacGuffin and provide twists on the plot at one point.

On the fourth installment of the franchise (Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol) though, Simon Pegg received a bigger role by working on the field, playing an important role on Ethan Hunt's team.

Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol earned the highest income in the franchise of the espionage film, with $694.7 million internationally. With that kind of success, a follow-up movie is a must.

J.J. Abram's Mission Impossible 5 announced last week that it is scheduled to hit theaters on Dec. 25, 2015, a week after the Star Wars Episode 7's release date.

Mission Impossible 5 cast plays a major role on the success of the film, as it has been proven that the IMF team around Ethan Hunt was one of the secrets to its success following the last installment of the franchise.

Questions about whether or not the team members of Brad Bird's Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol will be coming back on Tom Cruise's hit spy film has soon been emerging.

Luckily for the fans, Pegg already answered that question. During his promotion of the Blu-ray release of his astonishing movie The World's End, MTV asked Pegg if he'll be back in Mission Impossible 5 cast, where he answered.

"Yes, absolutely. I'm looking forward to that. I've already started eating one carrot a day in order to be in shape."

Such comments suggest that he will most likely be having some action-filled exposure on the fifth installment of the movie.

In addition, Pegg coming back on the Mission Impossible 5 cast also suggests that Paula Patton and Jeremy Renner will probably be back as Jane Carter and William Brandt too, both character were introduced in Ghost Protocol.
