Pokemon X And Y 2DS Bundles To Hit Europe, And The Trading Cards That Made Twitter Cry

Pokemon X and Y have been released, and it looks like a new bundle will be coming out in Europe to market the brand new 2DS.

As fans may know, the 2DS has the same gaming functionality of the 3DS, except it does not carry the 3D feature. Many Nintendo fans thought of this release as a bit superfluous, even at the cheaper price.

But for those who still do not have Pokemon X and Y, you may have another reason to shake hands with the new, simplified 2DS system.

According to Serebii, two 2DS bundles will be releasing on December 6 in Europe, one packaged with Pokemon X, and the other with Pokemon Y. The pricing is at €149.99.

From the recent photos which have been released showcasing these bundles, it seems Pokemon X will be bundled with a red and white 2DS, while Pokemon Y will be bundled with a blue and black 2DS.

Meanwhile, a very special group of Pokemon trading cards has gone viral on Twitter, with fans calling them the cards that made them cry.

In this Tepig evolution line, we can see Tepig with a young boy and his parents. Then in the Pignite card, the family has grown to include a kid sister. And finally with Emboar, the son has gotten married and has a baby of his own, and the parents from the Tepig card are now grandparents!

It is a rare thing to see such a narrative in Pokemon trading cards, and fans have embraced this unique way of storytelling on Twitter.

What do you think of these cards? Do they make you cry?
