GTA 5 PC Release Date News: Waiting For Next-Generation Launch? Speculation Suggests Rockstar Games Wants To Appeal To PS4, Xbox One Fans First

Rockstar Games might be waiting for a next-generation console release of Grand Theft Auto 5 before finalizing a PC version of the game, SidTech.com insinuates.

"Rockstar has been on silent mode when it comes to the PC but if we consider the previous release pattern, the PC will have a version of GTA and it will arrive last. So it is highly possible for Rockstar to release a PC version of GTA 5," SidTech.com writes.

"If the PC mange to get their version of GTA 5, we can also expect another version for the next-gen consoles, which on the other hand, has been released to the public. GTA 5 is still considered fresh from the oven despite the fact that many gamers have completed the game. If Rockstar is able to release the title to the next-gen, it will really appeal to the fans as the players get to experience a brilliant game on a brilliant machine. "

New speculation also suggests its graphics will be on par with the game's next-generation console versions.

"If Rockstar are going to spend the time to make the GTA V PC version more impressive from a graphics point of view, then surely there is a hint of hope that they could be planning to put the same work in to bring out surprise PS4 and Xbox One versions," Product-Reviews.net writes.

"Presuming all three versions are on the way in 2014 on PC, Xbox One and PS4, can you imagine how amazing the game is going to look graphically? GTA V already looks amazing on PS3 and Xbox 360 - arguably the best looking game ever on the last-generation hardware, although The Last of Us may also be in with a shout."

Earlier rumors suggest Grand Theft Auto 5 will be released within the first quarter of 2014, pointing to an beginning-of-year release.
