'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Movie Cast Update, Round-up: Christian Grey Bodyguard Will Be Played By 'Captain Phillips' Max Martini

"Fifty Shades of Grey" just added another actor to their movie cast: Max Martini from "Captain Phillips" will play Christian Grey's bodyguard in the highly-anticipated movie adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." According to E! News, Max Martini will join the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie cast, including Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey), Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele), Eloise Mumford (Anatasia's best friend Kate) and Luke Grimes (Christian's brother Elliot). Victor Rasuk will portray Anastasia's close friend José and Jennifer Ehle will be Anastasia's mother, Carla. Sam Taylor-Johnson is directing the movie adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel trilogy, which has sold more than 90 million copies, E! News reports.

Max Martini is known for his role as the leader of the Navy Seal team in "Captain Phillips" and as one of the main leads in Legendary's "Pacific Rim," Variety reports.

The studio confirmed the 43-year-old actor would play Christian Grey's bodyguard, on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is set to start filming in December, but it won't hit theaters until Feb. 13, 2015,  just in time for Valentine's Day, according to E! News.

Producer Dana Brunetti told Collider the movie would definitely have an R-rating, but there was even a possibility of "an NC-17 version that we [would release] a few weeks later."
