With the Bulls worrying with a Derrick Rose injury for now, seeing in to the future may look dim for the team as they slowly lose one-by-one players from their starters.

With Derrick Rose out with an injury, Jimmy Butler also out with an injury and a potential trade or a team switch for Luol Deng at the end of the season might hurt the team's goal to get an NBA championship.

As analysts would say, the team now looks far different from last year's team.

"The Bulls aren't a championship-caliber team without Rose."

It was heartbreak for the team and Bulls supporters alike, as they see Derrick Rose to be the same MVP caliber two years ago before he got injured again.

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau feels really devastated with the loss of his star player but said that all they can do is hope that all will be well for the point guard and hopefully move on and bounce back with what they have for now.

"We're hoping for the best," Thibodeau said. "We, of course, feel very badly for Derrick. He's in good spirits, about as well as can be expected under the circumstances, and he's already thinking about his rehab. Typical Derrick. He's concerned about his team, his teammates."

"I think we have an understanding of what we need to do," Thibodeau said. "We can't feel sorry for ourselves. We have to circle the wagons, and then get out there and get the job done."

Players and even coaches from other team sympathize with the team as they know how bad it is to lose the key player of the team especially Derrick Rose who just recovered from previous injuries.

"It's awful. You want Derrick playing," said Los Angeles coach Doc Rivers, who had Thibodeau on his staff in Boston. "(Rose) was about to break loose. You could feel it, and then that happens. I just hope he's back healthy this year. ... They'll be fine, though. They know how to play without him. They've gone through it."
