Miley Cyrus House Burglarized A Day Before Her Birthday; Engagement Ring Given By Liam Hemsworth Stolen!

Just a day before Miley Cyrus turned 21, thieves broke into her house in Studio City, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, nearly $100,000 worth of jewelry pieces have been stolen from the former Disney star's abode.

There is similarly a great possibility that the 'Wrecking Ball' singer's engagement ring given by Liam Hemsworth was one of the jewels which were taken away. Until now, the 3.5 carat cushion diamond ring exclusively designed by Neil Lane is nowhere to be found.

Despite Cyrus and Hemsworth's break-up in September, the 'Hunger Games' actor asked his ex-fiancée to keep the ring: "He wants Miley to keep the ring. He wouldn't ask for it back. Liam told Miley to keep it and do with it what she wanted. He told her to keep it as a memento of their love affair."

Since the ring holds a sentimental place in the pop star's heart, it is only normal for her to feel devastated. "She's extremely upset and a lot of personal items were stolen. She's really shaken up about the whole thing," claims an insider.

Apart from jewels, luxury purses were likewise looted. During the time of break-in, nobody was at home. O signs of forced entry have been noticed in the property. The 'So Undercover' star's only hope is the array of surveillance cameras which the house possesses.

Despite the traumatic incident, the actress still celebrated her 21st birthday extravagantly. On the day of her birthday itself, she was rehearsing for the American Music Awards but she reportedly had a simple birthday cake at home.

The official birthday party took place after her feline-inspired performance at the AMA 2013. The wild party reportedly included strippers and a cake depicting a naked Cyrus whose private parts were covered with marijuana leaves.
