The holiday season has began to kick off with Thanksgiving in the United States and the start of Chanukah, with numerous K-Pop acts releasing holiday albums to celebrate. SM Entertainment's EXO joined the list with the announcement of their upcoming album Miracle of December. The album will feature five tracks and will have both Chinese and Korean versions, as consistent with other EXO releases.

The announcement of the upcoming release was accompanied by a photo teaser of the members of EXO in a tree formation. EXO fans are receiving extra doses of fan service from the group, as this announcement follows the airing of the first episode of their reality program EXO Showtime, in which the group answers questions which were previously submitted by fans. The album Miracle of December is intended to be a gift to fans and will be supported by a special stage which will be presented on December 5^th at M! Countdown. EXO's holiday album will be released on December 9^th.

On November 27^th TVXQ released the Japanese Christmas single Very Merry Christmas which reached number 2 on the Oricon Chart. Very Merry Christmas features upbeat vocals and a breakdown that includes lyrics from the classic Silent Night, as well as jingle bell instrumentals.

Girl Group Crayon Pop has started to ring in the holiday season with the energetic track, Lonely Christmas. The group released a video teaser for the Christmas single earlier in the week which features a new dance and star adorned helmets which top off a Christmas present-themed look. Fans of Korean hip hop can check out Outsider, who released the holiday themed song Blue Christmas which can be found on the Blue Christmas compilation.

The holiday gift buying season has started, with more Christmas releases to come. An EXO winter album will be a welcomed addition to the K-Pop Christmas music which is currently on the market. With more K-Pop Christmas songs on the market, there will definitely be more opportunities to have a K-Pop filled Christmas.
