David Beckham Biography Movie Update: How Did ‘The Fury’ Star React On Celebrity Athlete’s Statement: ‘Brad Pitt Would Be The Obvious Choice’

David Beckham Biography movie is not yet even in the works, but the football superstar already made his choice on who should be portraying him.

According to his interview with Colin Murray for talkSport the celebrity athlete revealed that "Brad Pitt would be the obvious choice," when asked about who would he like to portray him in a movie based on his life.

"Him or Leonardo DiCaprio, or maybe Bradley Cooper," he quipped. "They're not bad looking guys!"

What does Brad Pitt has to say about this? Well the "The Fury" star haven't made any comment about this, but it can be recalled that he would want David Beckham to coach his six children with fiancé Angelina Jolie to play football.

"I want him to teach my kids soccer," Pitt told femalefirst.co.uk, which was published earlier in July this year.

The 49-year old star who would be turning 50 this December 18 believes that the retired soccer player would be successful if ever he considers pursuing a career in acting.

"I think he's got what it takes," he claimed.

With that being said, it's pretty much possible for Brad Pitt to accept the role if in case a biography movie for David Beckham would be pursued.

During Beckham's interview with talkSport he also talked about his life after retiring from professional football, saying: "I'm coping pretty well. I had lots of things set up for when I called it a day. I was very lucky I finished my career on such a high.

"My career was pretty successful over the last 20 years and to be able to finish my career at PSG with a trophy, and then walk away from football, was very special.

"It's never easy retiring and it's not easy to walk away from something that you love but there were a lot of things I had ready to go the minute I stopped playing, that was important. I've got a big family, four kids to chase around, that keeps you busy enough. I've not really had the chance to sit down and miss the playing side."

Talks about David Beckham biography movie sparked because of a documentary film "The Class of 92," which he will be starring alongside his team members Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, Gary Neville and Phil Neville - a documentary about the Manchester United youth team.

The Class of 92 film debuts on selected cinemas on Sunday, December 1 and will be widely available on DVD starting Monday, December 2 from Universal Pictures.
