‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Movie Begins Filming On Schedule: EL James Posts First Photo On Instagram; Christian Grey, Ana Steele On Coffee Date

"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie has begun filming right on schedule. The movie was set to start filming in early December, following the announcement that Jamie Dornan was going to play Christian Grey in Charlie Hunnam's absence. "Fifty Shades of Grey" author EL James posted a photo on her Instagram of the first day of filming.

"Action!" EL James captioned her first behind-the-scenes photo of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film. The photo shows the movie's clap board, revealing that roll one, take one features "scene 25."

IB Times reports film producer Dana Brunetti posted the photo on Twitter Sunday with the message: "And so it begins..." He later added: "Here we go."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" began filming in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday.

Meanwhile, photographs obtained by JustJared.com show Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian Grey and Ana Steele on set, filming their first scene at an undisclosed location in the GasTown District of Vancouver Sunday, IB Times reports.

Dornan and Johnson appeared to be shooting the "coffee date" scene from E.L. James' first installment in her trilogy, in which Grey attempts to get to know Ana. Dornan is wearing a crisp suit and holding a teapot, while Johnson is wearing an olive-green jacket and blue scarf with a mug in her hands. Neither of the actors are looking at each other in the photos, perhaps because they are portraying two characters shy in each other's presence.

Last month, Brunetti said there are plans to create two separate versions of the film: one with an "R" rating and another dirtier version to pacify fans, IB Times reports.

"This is just my opinion, and this doesn't mean this is going to happen, but I always thought it would be really cool if we released the R version and then we had an NC-17 version that we released a few weeks later," Brunetti revealed to Variety.

"Everybody could go and enjoy the R version, and then if they really wanted to see it again and get a little bit more gritty with it, then have that NC-17 version out there as well," he said.

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 13, 2015.
