After getting married last year, fans cannot help but wonder whether Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively will soon choose to mix their genetic gifts. In a recent interview, the 'Green Lantern' actor says that he is very much willing to be a father but it is his wife who will have the ultimate decision.

"I would like to have children, but actually it's not really up to me," says the 37-year-old actor. According to him, it is the 'Gossip Girl' actress who will give the go-signal if she's already prepared to be pregnant. Blake Lively pregnancy rumors have previously circulated but Reynolds shunned such speculations. Prior to being Lively's husband, he was married to another blonde beauty, Scarlett Johansson.

The 'Safe House' star appears to be ready to have a family since he recently told Hola about his first priority: ''I have a very good relationship with the people I love the most in my life, and that's the most important thing to me. That's what really matters.''

Apart from his marriage with the 'Sisterhood of Travelling Pants' actress, Reynolds is similarly happy with his career: ''I've been very fortunate in my life. There are people who work hard and they cannot gain success and that's why I value it a lot.''

Even if he's already nearing his forties, Reynolds is still a favorite when it comes to magazines' lists of hottest men. He confesses that he is conscious when it comes to his appearance: ''I've always tried to keep my style so that in 15 years I can look back and say that I loved it.''
