With the movie about to be released not for another two years yet, Disney is not wasting any of its time pumping up the market for the highly anticipated movie sequel. The official Instagram account has gained over 100 thousand followers already in just one day.

Although the first photo featuring a selfie from Darth Vader is did not come from the Star Wars episode 7's set - the filming has not started yet not until next spring - it's just the perfect way for Lucasfilm and Disney to perk up the movie fans.

The Instagram account of Star Wars is expected to release some of Episode 7 spoilers, which the fans are too excited to see.

The Star Wars Instagram account has already shared five photos - a Darth Vader selfie, "3Vadergram" from "Return of the Jedi," a concept model of the Star Destroyer from Colin Cantwell in "Star Wars," and a group of slave Leais from a Comic-Con in San Diego three years ago.

The Star Wars Episode 7 movie is about to be released on Dec. 18, 2015. A movie to be directed by J.J. Abrams whom will also be re-writing the script with Star Wars veteran Lawrence Kasdan.

None of the cast has been revealed by Lucasfilm, Disney or J.J. Abrams himself, but previous rumors suggests that actors from the previous franchise will not be returning for the latest movie. Then again, with Abrams directing, nothing is impossible.
